Your IFRS 16 Reporting processes can be made even easier by utilising the Preset feature. In this article, we're showing you how to save a customised template of any of our IFRS 16 Reports in OneLease, available to use in future.

Create and Save a Preset

  1. Click on the Report you'd like to create a Preset for.

  1. Set up your report as desired using the customisation tools.

The Relative Date Picker feature is particularly useful when you're creating Presets, as you can select current periods, the most recent periods, and “X to date” periods which update in real time. For example, if you created your Preset in March, and selected “Last Month” in the Relative Date Picker, when you use that same Preset in June, it will automatically present the relevant information for May.

  1. Run the Report.

  1. If you are happy with the report set up, click “Create Preset”.

  1. Give your Preset a name, then click “Create Preset”. Note that other users in your Organisation can view and use the reports you save, so it is useful to give the Preset a unique name.

Generate a Report using a Preset

  1. Navigate to the Reporting page and click “Saved Presets”.

  1. For the Preset you'd like to use, either click the Preset name to open the Preset and make changes, or click “Run preset” to automatically run the report.

Your Report will then generate as per your Preset configuration.

Update Preset

To change the details of your Preset:

  1. On the open Preset, update the field(s) you want to change.

  1. Click “Update Preset” to save your changes. You can do this before or after running the updated report. Note that this will overwrite the old Preset setup.

  1. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to change the Preset name if required. Click “Update Preset”.

Your Preset will now use these updated setup details.

Copy Preset

To make a copy of a Preset:

  1. On the open Preset, update the field(s) you want to change.

  1. Click the “Update Preset” drop-down arrow and select “Copy Preset”.

  1. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to change the Preset name if required. Click “Copy Preset”.

You can then navigate to Saved Presets find your copied Preset ready to use.

Delete Preset

To delete a Preset:

  1. On the open Preset, click the “Update Preset” drop-down arrow and select “Delete Preset”.

  1. A pop-up will appear, confirming you want to delete the Preset. Click “Delete Preset”.

You can then navigate to Saved Presets find that your deleted Preset has been removed.
