Please note: As this feature is currently in Beta mode and undergoing final testing before the official release, the functionality may be subject to minor errors. For now, we would love your feedback so please feel free to hit our Feedback button to the right of your browser if you have any suggested enhancements, notice any issues or want to let our Developers know they've done a great job! Should you see any bugs, glitches or lack of functionality in your reports, please contact our Support Team (support@nomosone.com), who will be more than happy to assist.

When you generate any of our IFRS 16 Financial Reports in OneLease (Beta), it's always useful to check the reporting Logs. The Logs will show you which of your Agreements have successfully pulled through to the report you've generated, and for any Agreements that don't show up - the reason why.

What's different about the OneLease (Beta) Logs functionality?

Besides the fresh new layout, there's a couple of extra changes to be aware of when using Logs:

  • Logs now come with a Classification to make it easier for you to determine what kind of issue you're dealing with. You'll see "Data issue" or "Processing issue" before the log description. Data issue means there's a data entry issue and Processing issue means there's an engine generation issue.
  • There's a new Hide Excluded check box added to the Logs, which means that by default all Agreements that (1) don't have IFRS 16 Settings turned on, or (2) are Inactive in your Organisation will be excluded from your report. If you want to review the excluded Agreements you can uncheck the box to include them in the Logs.
  • The ability to export logs is currently unavailable. If you miss this feature though, let us know and we'll pass that onto our Developers!

Checking the Logs

To view the reporting Logs, generate one of our IFRS 16 Reports in OneLease (Beta) and click Logs.

If you only want to see a list of the Agreements that have successfully pulled through to your report you can select Hide Errors, or if you would like to see Agreements that have failed to pull through to your report, click Hide Success. You can also filter the Logs by using the Search Logs bar to check the reporting status of a particular Agreement by typing in an Agreement Known As or Agreement ID.

What are Error Logs?

In the Logs, if an Agreement has an Error Status, it means that the IFRS 16 Report hasn't populated for that Agreement in the period which you've generated your report.

In the Message column of Logs, it tells you what the cause of this is so you know what you need fix to get the Agreement reporting.

In the above example, a Data Issue has triggered the error, indicating that incorrect data entry of the interest rate is the cause of the error. Resolution of this issue (i.e. adding the interest rate to be applied to this Agreement) will allow the report to generate for this Agreement.

Sometimes it might be a bit tricky to work out what an error message means and therefore what you need to do to fix it. You can check out our tips below to see some of the common error messages and how to resolve them. If you still can't resolve the error, please email us at support@nomosone.com and we'll be happy to help you out!
