The Relative Date Picker feature gives you an extra level of control over the dates you see in your IFRS 16 Reports. It also works well with our Report Preset feature, enabling you to easily set up reports with relevant periods selected. For example, if you create a Preset with the “Last Month” date option selected, when you run the Preset in June, you'll see May as the reporting period.
To use this feature, click the drop-down arrow for the Reporting Period field.

You'll find a range of period options, based on the date you are accessing the report.

When you manually set up the Reporting Period Start and End dates, if they match one of the Relative Date Picker periods, the feature will suggest you select the relative date range instead. If setting up a Preset, using the Relative Date option will mean the Preset automatically updates to reflect the selected period, rather than being stuck to the exact day-month-year.
