Resetting an Event allows you to clear all of the data added to an Event and enables you to start it again from the beginning. You can Reset any Completed Event, and you can also reset an Event you've partially completed.
Please Note: Resetting an Event will also reset the IFRS 16 Settings Change Questionnaire on the Event to read "No, not required".
If you had recorded an update to your assumptions, toggle the question back to "Yes, settings should change" and confirm your changes.
To reset a Completed Event:
- Click on the Event icon and click Repair Event
Is your Event in a locked period? You'll need to ask a user with the Administrator permission in your Organisation to edit the Lock Date before you can reset the Event. Check out this article for more information.
- Click continue on the pop-up box
- Click into Step 1. Summary of the Event completion process
- Click the Reset Event button
- In the confirmation pop-up box, click Continue
Any changes made to your Agreement data within the Event will successfully have been reset
Please Note: If you reset a Variation Event where you've changed a feature of the Agreement that does not support time-stamped changes, this change to the Agreement Data will not automatically be reset and you'll need to manually revert these changes. Please contact our Support Team for further guidance.
