Your IFRS 16 Reporting processes can be made even easier by utilising the Preset feature. In this article, we're showing you how you can save any configuration you create on any of our IFRS 16 Reports in OneLease (Beta) to re-use again and again.
Creating and Saving a Preset
- Click on the Report you'd like to create a Preset for.
- Choose your selected Report configuration.
The Relevant Date Picker feature is particularly useful when you're creating Presets, as you can select current periods, the most recent periods, and “X to date” periods which update in real time. For example, if you created your Preset in March, and selected “Last Month” in the Relevant Date Picker, when you use that same Preset in June, it will automatically present the relevant information for May.
- Click on the Save Preset icon next to the Download button.
You can save a Preset before or after you Run your report. Want to take a look at the output before saving? Hit the Run Report button first.
- Give your Preset a name in the Preset Name field before saving the Preset. Note that other users in your Organisation can view and use the reports you save, so it is useful to give the preset a unique name.
Generating a Report using a Preset
- Navigate to the Reporting page.
- Click Saved Presets.
- Select the Saved Preset Report you'd like to generate, and click Run preset.
- You can make additional changes to your report configuration at this point, or simply click Run Report.
Please note: If you made additional changes and Save your Preset again, this will override the existing Preset you created. To avoid this, Copy your Preset first.
Your Report will then generate as per your Preset configuration.

Copying a Preset
Want to make a similar Preset to one you've already created, but don't want to start from scratch? Our Copy Preset feature allows you to update an existing Preset and save it as a copy.
- Open a saved Preset.
- Update your Report configuration as required.
- Click the Copy Preset icon.

- Rename your copied Preset, then click Save Preset.
You can then navigate to your Saved Presets and you'll find your copied Preset ready to use!
Deleting a Preset
- Open the Preset you'd like to delete.
- Click the Delete Preset button.
- Click Delete Preset Name here, e.g., Delete Journal report - last Quarter Property.
Your selected Preset will be deleted from Saved Presets.
Please note: As this feature is currently in Beta mode and undergoing final testing before the official release, the functionality may be subject to minor errors.
